North Carolina-Asheville's J.P. Primm has been chosen as the StatSheet Big South Player of the Week for the week ending March 5th. StatSheet's Big South Freshman of the Week is Charleston Southern's Arlon Harper. Finally, North Carolina-Asheville's Jaron Lane has taken StatSheet's Big South 6th Man of the Week. Primm registered a strong showing in rebounding (3 per game), shooting (50%), and scoring (19.3 pts per game). The North Carolina-Asheville senior put these numbers up in wins versus High Point, Charleston Southern, and Virginia Military Institute.

Primm contributed 15 points and 6 assists in 31 minutes in a big 86-61 win over High Point. He followed that up by leading the team in scoring with 27 points plus an additional 3 assists in a huge 91-64 victory over Charleston Southern. This is the second StatSheet Big South Player of the Week honor for J.P. Primm. He has also come in second once. The runner-up this week is Jeremy Atkinson, a junior from North Carolina-Asheville. Honorable mention goes to North Carolina-Asheville senior Chris Stephenson. The highest ranking player from Virginia Military Institute was Stan Okoye who finished eighth.
